Meet The Pastor<\/h2><\/div>

<\/p>\n

Rev. Ronald E. Taylor, Sr. was born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area. He is the youngest of three children of the late Robert B. Taylor, Sr., and Doris M. Taylor. Reverend Taylor has been married to Deborah D. Taylor \u2013 whom he affectionately calls the Bone of His Bone and the Flesh of His Flesh \u2013 for 38 years. To this union were blessed 3 children; Asia, Ronald Jr., and Joseph. <\/p>\n

Reverend Taylor was educated in the D.C. public school system; studied at USDA Business School, UDC, and Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary; and earned his degree in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College. <\/p>\n

Reverend Taylor accepted the call to the ministry in June 2000 and was licensed to preach the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ by the late Rev. Dr. L. B. Jones, Sr., Pastor of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. <\/p>\n

In 2008, Reverend Taylor was called to serve as Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Reverend Gary A. Davis, pastor of Grace United Baptist Church. There, he served as Director of Christian Education, Bible Study, and Sunday School Teacher, as well as performing a number of other administrative, ministerial, and evangelistic duties. <\/p>\n

Reverend Taylor is a visionary with a passion for engaging the membership, preaching and teaching the gospel, and facilitating the church’s growth and development. He has coined the phrase FHBC is On the Move!<\/b><\/p>\n

YokeFellow Baptist Men’s Ministry<\/a><\/h3>

The Yokefellow Baptist Men\u2019s Ministry strives to create an environment in which men and boys will sense and respond to God\u2019s call for salvation and service, to become Acts 1:8 Christians, honor the Great Commission and Commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Church and their personal lives. All men of the church are invited to participate in the Yokefellow Baptist Men\u2019s Ministry. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Women\u2019s Missionary Union (WMU) Ministry<\/a><\/h3>

The purpose of the Women\u2019s Missionary Union (WMU) Ministry is to inform, inspire, and challenge Christian women to understand and to be actively involved in the Great Commission to influence the world for Christ (reference Matthew 28:18-20). All women of the church are invited to participate in the WMU Ministry. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Children’s Ministry<\/a><\/h3>

Children\u2019s Church is available for children ages 6 to 10 during the Sunday morning worship service. During Children\u2019s Church, the youth are introduced to Scripture from the Holy Bible, reading Bible stories, doing Biblical crafts and sharing life\u2019s experiences. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n
