Greetings FHBC Family and Friends:
The Church Council and I are pleased to announce that the church will reopen on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Sunday School will start at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Worship Service at 11:00. Both services will be held in the sanctuary.
We understand that not everyone is willing to re-enter the building. Sunday School and the Worship Service will still be available on Zoom. In an effort to make sure the building remains sanitized, and everyone is safe, we have implemented the following procedures per CDC guidelines:
Church Building:
The cleaning crew will dust and wipe down surfaces prior to the reopening. After each the Worship Service the sanctuary and restrooms will be fogged. Prior to the next Sunday services, the sanctuary and restrooms will be wiped down.
Children:
Children are welcome; however, children must remain with their parents in the sanctuary during both Sunday School and the Worship Service. Children’s classes will resume in the near future.
Members and Visitors:
We ask that you please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth, refrain from hugging and touching, and maintain social distance. Families may sit together.
Meetings:
There will be no meetings or other gatherings in the church building until further notice.
Restrooms:
We would like to limit as much contact as possible, so we ask that only two people or one family be in the restroom at a time. Members, who are able, are asked to please use the restrooms in the fellowship hall and allow visitors to use the restrooms in the front of the church.
Tithes and Offerings:
Tithes and offerings will continue to be collected on Wednesdays from 11:00 – 1:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 – 12:00. During Sunday Service a basket will be placed in the vestibule. Offerings can be put in the basket on your way out of the sanctuary after the Sunday service.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation during this transition period. We will make changes as necessary to ensure that we are back to normal as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
William Jones Sr., Pastor
