Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) Ministry
The purpose of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) Ministry is to inform, inspire, and challenge Christian women to understand and to be actively involved in the Great Commission to influence the world for Christ (reference Matthew 28:18-20). All women of the church are invited to participate in the WMU Ministry.
Yokefellow Baptist Men’s Ministry
The Yokefellow Baptist Men’s Ministry strives to create an environment in which men and boys will sense and respond to God’s call for salvation and service, to become Acts 1:8 Christians, honor the Great Commission and Commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ through the Church and their personal lives. All men of the church are invited to participate in the Yokefellow Baptist Men’s Ministry.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry consists of a Choir as well as Praise Team which leads the congregation in worship of God through music and song.
Children’s Ministry
Children’s Church is available for children ages 6 to 10 during the Sunday morning worship service. During Children’s Church, the youth are introduced to Scripture from the Holy Bible, reading Bible stories, doing Biblical crafts and sharing life’s experiences.
The Nursery is available for children ages newborn to 5 years old. Children are introduced to Bible stories from books and videos, and they have access to age appropriate toys. Cribs are available for babies and children who need naps.
Hostess Ministry
The Hostess Ministry organizes, plans and support meals for special occasions of the church to include repast meals for church member families who have lost a loved one. They work closely with the pastor to provide needed assistance for each repast meal, meeting with the families, when necessary.
